Todd grew up in Vermilion, Ohio, a small town on the shores of Lake Erie, where his passion for construction took root while working on building projects with his dad as a teenager. This early exposure to carpentry, coupled with formal training at E.H.O.V.E. Career Center, set the stage for a 25-year career in the new home industry. Over the years, Todd has achieved milestones such as having one of his custom homes featured in The Wall Street Journal.

Since establishing roots in Benton, Louisiana, in 2010, Todd and his team have been dedicated to offering a comprehensive and seamless home-building experience. Wanek Builders provides a turnkey package that includes lot selection, financing options, home plans, engineering, and the construction of your single-family home. With a focus on full transparency and continuous communication, we ensure every client feels informed and supported at every step of the journey.

Beyond the business, Todd is supported by his wife, Adrienne, an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Kingston Elementary, and their two children, Natalie Mae and Bradley. The Wanek family enjoys traveling, staying active in their church community, and spending time with their mini dachshund, Bonnie Claire.
